This timeline reflects how our engineering thinking evolved—from earlyproject execution to systematic manufacturing control and long-term reliability.

1996–2000 | Early Stage: Sign Fabrication & Field Experience

DIKA SIGN was founded in 1996. Early work focused on basic sign fabrication, including lettering, hand-cut signs, plaques, awards, and storefront signage, before entering outdoor signage projects. This stage built essential fabrication skills and on-site execution experience, forming the foundation for future engineering-based delivery.

2001–2004 | Establishing in Shanghai: Entry into Signage Projects

In 2001, the company relocated to Shanghai and began operating as a local signage workshop, with acrylic fabrication as its core business. Through real construction environments, DIKA SIGN gradually moved from fabrication delivery to signage project execution, accumulating practical knowledge in structural safety, installation conditions, and on-site feasibility.

2005–2006 | Company Formation: Manufacturing & Project Delivery System

In 2005, Shanghai Shiyan Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. was officially established, alongside the setup of in-house manufacturing facilities. Manufacturing became a core component of project delivery, marking the transition from production execution to full signage project delivery.

2007–2012 | Expansion Stage: Engineering Method & Scalable Delivery

With long-term cooperation with leading developers in Hong Kong and mainland China (including Shui On, COHL, Vanke, Sunac, and Gemdale), project scale and complexity increased significantly, supported by multiple production expansions. During this period, signage projects were clearly defined as engineering challenges, and an engineering approach focused on structural stability, installation feasibility, and long-term performance was established—enabling scalable delivery.

2013–2017 | Organizational Upgrade: Engineering Decisions Moved Forward

The company established three core divisions—Client, Design, and Production—and restructured product systems and internal workflows. Engineering decisions were moved upstream into design and manufacturing stages, reducing on-site uncertainty and improving overall delivery control.

2017–2023 | Strengthening Stage: Manufacturing, Compliance & Complex Project Validation

After completing formal manufacturing registration and environmental compliance upgrades, DIKA SIGN entered a phase focused on large and complex project validation. Through continuous delivery of high-standard projects such as five-star hotels and large commercial complexes, engineering methods, manufacturing stability, and site controllability were repeatedly verified, shifting delivery from experience-driven execution to predictable outcomes.

2024 | Strategic Upgrade: Standardized & Centralized Manufacturing

DIKA SIGN established a new production base in Lu'an, Anhui—known as "China's Signage Industry Hub"—to build a standardized, environmentally compliant manufacturing facility supporting large-scale production. At the same time, the Shanghai team relocated to the Hongqiao business district, forming an operational model of front-end engineering services + centralized manufacturing.

2025 | Development Stage: Brand Upgrade & International Engineering Systems

The DIKA SIGN | DINGTAISHI brand was officially registered, with outdoor aluminum signage systems defined as the core strategic focus, emphasizing lighter, more durable engineering solutions. International market expansion began in parallel, with UL and related certifications implemented to deliver higher-standard, more controllable signage engineering products and services for global clients.
