Key Advantages
DIKA SIGN Builds Production Steps
STEP 01>>
Material & Structure
Flat-Cut Stainless Steel Letters
Suitable for door signs, floor identification, interior wayfinding, and small reception wall letters. Clean edges and a refined metal finish make them ideal for close-view applications.
>> Fabricated Stainless Steel Letters
Suitable for storefront signs, facade letters, and larger brand letters where depth and dimensional effect are required.
>> DIKA SIGN Design Principle
We recommend the proper stainless steel grade, thickness, and structure based on letter size, installation environment, viewing distance, and budget, balancing appearance, fabrication precision, and long-term stability.
>> Halo-Lit Stainless Steel Letters
Suitable for storefronts, reception areas, and building facades that require night visibility and a premium lighting effect.
✦ 304 stainless steel is suitable for most standard indoor and outdoor projects.
✦ 316 stainless steel may be recommended for coastal, humid, or more corrosive environments.
✦ Stainless steel is especially suitable for small letters, fine strokes, and detailed typography.
✦ Large outdoor letters require early review of weight, backing structure, mounting strength, and site conditions.
✦ Grain Direction Control — Brushing direction should remain consistent across all letters.
✦ Edge & Welding Finish — Fabricated letters require careful welding, polishing, and edge finishing for a clean final appearance.
STEP 02>>
Finish & Color Options
✦ Natural Brushed Stainless Steel — A clean silver metal finish with a professional architectural look.
✦ PVD Brushed Finishes — Brushed gold, black titanium, bronze, champagne, and other premium metal tones.
✦ Painted Stainless Steel — Available when specific brand colors are required, but painting may reduce or cover the natural brushed metal texture.
STEP 03>>
Optional Halo Illumination
Brushed stainless steel letters are usually used as non-illuminated metal letters.
When night visibility or a stronger spatial atmosphere is required, halo-lit back illumination can be added.
✦ Non-Illuminated Letters — Suitable for reception walls, room signs, floor identification, interior wayfinding, and architectural branding.
✦ Halo-Lit Letters — LEDs are installed behind the letters to create a soft glow on the wall surface.
✦ Spacing Matters — The final halo effect depends on the distance from the wall, wall color, LED layout, and backing structure.
✦ Power & Maintenance — Power location, cable routing, and maintenance access should be planned in advance.
STEP 04>>
Installation Options
Direct-to-Wall Mounting
Suitable for flat and stable wall surfaces. Commonly used for interior wall letters, door signs, and small metal letters. Mechanical fixing with threaded studs is recommended; adhesive should only be used as auxiliary support for suitable indoor applications.
>> Standoff Mounting
Suitable for fabricated letters or halo-lit letters. A controlled distance from the wall adds visual depth and helps create a softer backlit effect.
>> Backer Panel / Frame-Mounted Installation
Suitable for large letters, facade projects, walls that are difficult to drill into, or projects requiring easier alignment and unified installation.
>> DIKA SIGN Installation Principle
The final installation method should be confirmed based on letter size, weight, wall condition, illumination, maintenance access, and project environment.
