DIKA SIGN Builds Production Steps
STEP 01>>
Face / Visual Output
DIKA SIGN selects face materials based on LED performance, durability, and project-specific requirements.
>> Acrylic Face
Branded acrylic offers a wide range of vibrant colors at a relatively lower cost. However, colored acrylic has limited UV resistance, and its illuminated appearance may be less vivid over long-term outdoor exposure.
>> Polycarbonate(PC) Face
Polycarbonate is specified when letter sizes are large, shapes are complex, or higher impact resistance is required, ensuring better structural integrity in demanding conditions.
>> White Acrylic + Translucent Vinyl
This solution is used when precise brand color control or day/night color effects are required, allowing accurate color matching through translucent films applied to a white acrylic base.
Final face material is confirmed during the detailed drawing stage, based on letter size, brightness targets, color accuracy requirements, and installation conditions.

STEP 02>>
Structure & Safety
The steel structure, mounting method, and letter construction are engineered as one integrated system to ensure structural safety, water resistance, and long-term outdoor performance.
>> Steel Support Structure
Steel frames are designed based on letter size, weight, and site-specific wind load to provide stable and reliable load-bearing support.
>> Mounting Method
Mounting methods are selected according to façade conditions, fixing points, and installation environment, ensuring secure anchoring and precise alignment.
>> Letter Structural Integrity
Letter construction is optimized for rigidity, flatness, and fastening strength, preventing deformation during installation and long-term use.
>> Drainage & Water Protection
Drain holes, sealing paths, and structural gaps are engineered into the letter structure to reduce water accumulation and improve outdoor reliability.
DIKA SIGN engineers structures for real installation and real environments—not just appearance.
STEP 03>>
LED & Optical Logic
LED modules are selected based on illumination calculations, not fixed models.
Spacing and layout are optimized to ensure uniform brightness, controlled power consumption, and heat management.
>> Standard Practice
✦ IP-rated waterproof LED modules
✦ UL-compliant wiring as default internal standard
Full UL-certified system delivery is available upon request and may affect cost.
STEP 04>>
Electrical & Safety
Electrical components are engineered for safety, reliability, and long-term outdoor performance.
Power wiring, connectors, and entry points are selected to meet UL or equivalent electrical safety standards.
Wiring exits and connection points are coordinated with the mounting method to ensure clean installation and proper strain relief.
Surge protection and power load calculations are considered to protect LED modules and power supplies from voltage fluctuations.
STEP 05>>
Finish & Color Control
DIKA SIGN uses surface finishing to control two things: color accuracy and outdoor durability—final finish is confirmed at the drawing stage.
>> Paint · Fluorocarbon Coating (Outdoor Standard)
Automotive-grade fluorocarbon paint is specified for outdoor use, with colors matched by Pantone to ensure UV resistance and long-term color stability.
>> Translucent Vinyl · Color Control Option
Translucent vinyl is specified when precise color control is required.
Common brands include 3M, and Avery Dennison; final selection is confirmed with the client based on performance expectations and cost.
>> Electroplating · Visual-Focused Finish
Electroplated finishes provide premium metallic appearance.
Outdoor durability depends on environment and process control; typically specified for feature elements or indoor applications.
>> Anodizing · Aluminum Surface Treatment
Anodizing is applied to aluminum surfaces to improve adhesion and wear resistance.
Color range is limited, but weather performance is stable when properly engineered.
Weatherability is engineered, not assumed—DIKA SIGN selects finishes based on exposure, lifespan targets, and brand color requirements.
STEP 06>>
Support & Documentation
Engineering-defined delivery. Project-specific execution.
>> What You Receive
Project-specific engineered drawings
Installation guidance (document or video)
Mounting method recommendations
Wiring, drainage, and tolerance notes
All documentation is issued based on approved drawings, not preset product configurations.
>> Installation Support Scope
Domestic projects (China):
Paid on-site installation service available upon request.
Overseas projects:
Engineering-based installation support only; on-site labor is not included.
Installation methods are finalized according to site conditions, façade structure, and local regulations.
